Mary Zhang, licensed acupuncturist and doctor of Chinese medicine, Kansas City, Missouri, employs a broad, spiritual approach to health and wellness. She works as a team with each patient and searches for different healing tools besides Chinese medicine to help create balance and harmony. These include diet, nutrition, recommendations for meditation or yoga, and partnerships with physicians.

 

Mary is especially gifted in treating internal problems such as chronic fatigue syndrome, weight loss, fibromyalgia and many more. Her specialty and favorite practice area is infertility, and she gains enormous joy, excitement and pleasure from helping other people and making their dreams come true.

 

Mary received her medical degree from the Chinese Medicine University of Liaoning, China, and worked in Chinese, German and U.S hospitals and clinics for more than 15 years. She holds a diploma from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Missouri license.

Mary has been featured in local publications including the Kansas City Star, and Women’s Edition. She also has taught T’ai Chi, Qigong, and diet and nutrition classes, at local hospitals and universities, including North Kansas City Hospital, Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Johnson County Community College, University of Missouri – Kansas City and Graceland University.

Mary Hays -- Office Manager

Mary Hays joined the Chinese Medicine Clinic in February, 2007.

 

She attended college at Kansas State University and University of Missouri-Kansas City.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree of Information Technology and certification of insurance billing.

Mary has worked in the corporate setting for several years prior to her arrival with the clinic.  She feels so much more rewarded working closely with patients and seeing their successes and empathizes with the failures that occur.
